Registration Day
Registration Day is a required event for ALL students. Students will confirm their schedules, verify their personal information and make their first payment. New students will also take English and Math placement exams. A late registration fee will incur for those students who do not complete all steps by 1:00 pm.
Here is some additional information the placement exams to be given on Registration Day to all new students.
English Placement Exam: The first exam will be an English placement exam that will determine which grammar and composition class you will need to take. The English Placement Exam covers three areas: reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. Please contact Mrs. Flood at rflood@gsbc.edu if you have any questions regarding the English placement exam.
Math Placement Exam: Should you not pass the test, you will be required to enroll in General Math which is worth 0 credit. To help you prepare for the General Math test, a sample test has been created for you. You can find the test as well as the test key at the links listed below. If you will take a few moments in the next few weeks to prepare for this test, you will be rewarded with ‘testing out’ of General Math altogether.
